Jana Kramer bio

Jana Kramer became famous on television, where she played Alex in the One Tree Hill series' last three seasons. She was featured in several episodes as a new country singer, which helped her album to reach the Billboard 200 Top 20. Her follow-up 2015's Thirty One reached the Top Ten. Her decade was rounded out with performances on Dancing with the Stars. The self-doubting Voices came out in 2021. Growing up within Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer was raised on country music. Later, she would make a record career, but she made her debut as an actor who made her screen debut in the 2002 indie horror film Dead/Undead while still in her teen years. After appearing as a guest in All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed Noelle Davenport's recurring role on NBC Friday Night Lights in the second season of 2007-2008. Kramer was cast as Portia Ranson on 90210 2008-2009 and Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 before joining the cast of the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in the year 2009, where she continued to appear until the final season of the show in 2012. Jana Kramer Kramer was a star of One Tree Hill from 2009 through in 2012. The actress was signed a contract in 2009 with Elektra Records, and she debuted her contemporary country love track I Won't Give Up during a One Tree Hill 2011 episode. Later, in 2012, it was released as a single on Jana Kramer - her first album. It landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Focusing on her music career thereafter without retiring from acting Kramer appeared in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would appeal to her music fanbase. Kramer's second album, Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of 2015. It received a boost from Kramer's Top Five country song I Got the Boy and as a duet with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. This album reached third place among the Billboard 200 country charts and at number 10 on the Billboard 200. Starting in September 2016, she spent two months in the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars, that ended in fourth position. The same year she was also a part of an adult contemporary smash featuring"Feels Like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
